Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 Review
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 is a 7.2-mega pixel camera with a small 2-inch LCD screen. Cnet has written a great review of the DSC-W35 and they write: “The camera performed quite well in our tests, considering its low price tag. After a mere 1.4-second startup time, we were rattling off shots every 1.4 seconds. With the onboard flash enabled, that time slightly increased to 1.7 seconds. Shutter lag was a peppy 0.4 seconds in bright light, though the lag increased to 1.7 seconds in dim environments. Burst mode was acceptable, snapping four full-resolution shots in just under three seconds for a rate of 1.34 frames per second.
Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Review
Cnet has written a small review of the Casio Exilim EX-Z75 and they write: “The Casio Exilim EX-Z75 is a follow-up to the company’s budget-priced Exilim EX-Z70. The 7-megapixel shooter is essentially identical to the EX-Z70 except for its slightly larger 2.6-inch LCD screen. The EX-Z75 has the same sensor, a 3x lens, digital image stabilization, and 34 scene settings.
Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 Review
The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 is a 10-mega pixel compact camera (one of very few) with a larger 2.6-inch LCD screen. The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 will hit the shops in March, with a suggested price of $300, and it will be available in pink, blue, silver and black. Trusted Reviews has reviewed the DSC-W70 and write: “About half way up the field you’ll find the DSC-W70, a mid-priced, mid-spec pocket compact with a 3x zoom lens and a 7.2-megapixel CCD. It was launched last year and currently has a list price of £248.99, but unsurprisingly it is available for considerably less.

The Pentax Optio A20 is a 10-mega pixel camera with 3x optical zoom and a large 2.5-inch LCD screen. Blog Critics has reviewed the Optio A20 and they write: “The A20 seems to manage happily under most conditions, although I did see it struggling on some dark scenes. However, these could be easily corrected using Photoshop without loosing any details.
