Sony DSLR A200Sony have announced their only new DSLR camera at the 2008 CES. It’s the Sony DSLR A200 and it replaces the former Sony DSLR-A100.

The Sony A200 features a 10.2-megapixel sensor and is designed to be easier to use, faster and lighter. It has a wider 2.7-inch LCDTM screen, easy-to-use function menu, a more compact body than the previous one, and improved noise control for HQ images.

Cnet has written a review of the FE-240 and they write: ” The FE-240’s most notable feature is its lens. The camera’s 38mm-to-190mm-equivalent lens offers a 5x magnification factor over the other FE-cameras’ 3x lenses. Besides the increased zoom, the FE-240 sports fairly mundane features, such as a 7-megapixel sensor and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.

Nikon D2XsCnet has written a review of the Nikon D2Xs and they write: “Built to last, with a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body, the Nikon D2Xs sports the same thoughtful design as its predecessor. Its built-in vertical grip helps make this model larger than the average SLR. It measures 6.2×5.9×3.4 inches without a lens, and at 2.8 pounds (with its battery and a CompactFlash card), it’s not exactly light either, though it’s still about half a pound lighter than the EOS-1Ds Mark II.
