Kodak Easyshare M1033Kodak has announced a slew of new EasyShare cameras at this year’s CES. This one, the EasyShare M1033 (which is part of the M series) is a 10 mega-pixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. It comes with face detection technology, as well as HD still image capabilities.

The EasyShare M1033 has a nice and large 3-inch wide-angle viewing color LCD.

Samsung i8The Samsung i8 was recently unveiled — It’s an 8.1 mega-pixel camera with a 2.7-inch touch screen LCD, and it comes with Personal Multimedia Player (PMP) with integrated MP3 player.

The i8 has an in-built World Tour Guide, as they call it, which is a function that provides instant access to travel info covering 2,600 regions in 30 countries. And with its 195 MB of internal memory you needn’t worry about space.

Casio designed the Zoom EX-Z80 to be “easy” and “fun”. It sure looks cute, I’m loving the baby blue color. The camera comes in six different colors; pale pink, vivid pink, blue, black, green, and silver.

This little compact also comes with the Face detection function. The Exilim Zoom EX-Z80 uses face detection technology and can detect up to 10 faces. When it recognizes any of the prerecorded faces, it prioritizes them when determining correct focus and exposure. Pretty smart!
