The EasyShare M893 is also part of the M series — It is an 8.1 mega-pixel camera (which allows you to print up to an incredible 30 × 40 in. (76 × 102 cm)) and has a 3x optical zoom lens. The M893 is capable of taking HD still images, as well as face detection technology.

The M893 IS allows you to “shoot video with ease.” You can record continuous VGA video (640 × 480) at 15 fps with sound and on-camera editing.

Additionally, the camera comes with voice tagging, which I think is pretty clever. Basically you add voice tags to each picture (or of course just the ones you want), so you can easily find and organize them later on. This feature seems to be standard in Kodak’s new M series.

The EasyShare M893 will retail at $179.95 and will be available in April.
