The new Exilim Zoom EXZ80 is a small 8.1 megapixel camera with a smart design.

Casio designed the Zoom EX-Z80 to be “easy” and “fun”. It sure looks cute, I’m loving the baby blue color. The camera comes in six different colors; pale pink, vivid pink, blue, black, green, and silver.

This little compact also comes with the Face detection function. The Exilim Zoom EX-Z80 uses face detection technology and can detect up to 10 faces. When it recognizes any of the prerecorded faces, it prioritizes them when determining correct focus and exposure. Pretty smart!

The Zoom EX-Z80 comes with a 3x optical zoom lens.

Additionally, and this is the fun part, it comes with focusing frames. You can choose from different designs, one of them being a heart shape frame. Basically what happens is, when you’re aiming and the camera is crisply in focus, the clear heart shape will be displayed, but when the image is not focus the heart shape breaks up. It’s not only cute and fun, but useful too.
